dada unearthed this picture from 19 magh 2023 (1 february 1967). here is "kamal babu" inaugurating the "rani dharo" at ojheytar 41 years ago! in the picture too are (from left to right) subba bajey (who looked after ranisaab's legal interests), suku (the mason, the one who carved the letters on the tap stand too) and bhaktilal (the "mechanic cum overseer cum handyman" who was responsible for ensuring water flowed at ojheytar).dada says that there was quite a bunch of us at ojheytar on that day.. probably like a picnic sort of thing. the arniko highway must have been smacking new in those days!
