the after-a-long-time party in bagh bazar

it was literally that, a party after a long time at bagh bazar. 11 july. it was day kripa arrived from the u.s.. it was also a day for the older cousins to get an excuse to meet each other as well the younger generation of cousins.. including prarthana, who's in town for her wedding reception.











































































a treat was also getting kalpana and kids over.. she's just back in town from myanmar. she and prativa bhauju are catching up on their mothers who were childhood friends!














the bigger girls had their own corner












































the younger girls had their own catching up to do










































































and the youngest group of all, including their western friends, were in their world, including a game of cards amidst all the hullabaloo! and some cousins getting back to their antics of course

and shanta, dropped by to say hi really really late!














for myself had a wonderful time cooking new dishes.. after a long long time! : )


































including experimenting with the "outcast" dish of the overnight-marinated mutton kabab that kalpana is here trying to 'phakao'





















the 'hittest' of the party, of course, was the mango softy!














all in all a fun party!
