it was a unique party. an 'outcast' party to celebrate daji's cast coming out!
daji got his independence from his cast on 4th of july. he did try doing a bit of jig that evening.
of course all he can do at the moment is tread lightly on the injured foot.. now it will be months of physio therapy to bring back the movement to his ankle
one cast out.. another semi cast in. milap nursing a torn ligament in his thumb
the outcast party was attended by the pataneys, the bagh bajaareys sans k'babu , but with kripa's friend rob too, and 'manny' (shanta's brother) and of course bruce 'burus' owens.
the evening of course started with a bubbly celebration
then the next course.. pizzas!! burus had hauled in a ceiling full of pizza from the fire and ice pizzeria.. all kinds of yummy sakahari and mamsahari flavours. we all gorged on it like there was no tomorrow.
then we topped that with milan's home made closed and open faced mango pies topped with bagh bazar softy ice cream (courtesy rob)
the cousins, including the nearly 'triplets cousins' kept up with their tradition of trying on their weirdest poses for the camera.
