so daji tripped over phurtiman--the dog, and dislocated as well as broke his ankle. he's been operated upon now. .but this image is from the day it happened. daji trying to make light of the situation...

and this was the morning of the day of the operation, when daji wanted to have his nails cut. didn't want the surgeon to see the dirt under the nails!!!

after the operation this evening.... groggy yet still cracking jokes. the doctors have played carpenter with him.. fixing the ankle and broken bones into place with screws and wires!
