panconpokhara- letting the pictures talk

no captions for the pix in the blog... just an intro
baba and i came to pokhara this morning  for the 5th national conference of the psychiatrist' association of nepal, where i was replaced and represented dada as the presented of the 'paper' on "dementia-caretaker's perspective". i hgave a three-part presentation.. first a pictorial (with captions) journey of deveji from a child bride to her current stage.. and then a series of video clips that showed a slice of her activties and the caregiver's involvement .. and then four slides on my reflection of the history, the coping, etc... it was very well appreciated.. for it gave the caregiver's perspective, which it seems is missing in most of such kind of conferences.. they commended me for my 'courage, frankness' and called the presentation 'excellent' .
baba stayed the whole time with me.. and actually enjoyed talking to many of the eminent psychiatrits of not only nepal by india as well... : )
