yesterday, 25th December, we went to kot with muwa and mami for an overnight stay.. the first for both of them ever since the house was built more than a dozen years ago. this all became possible because the road now comes right into the premises, and because we got a 4 door 4 wheeler from patan to drive them up and down...

mami basks in the warm sun.. the fresh air here would add 10 years in a person's life, she was saying!

when it begins to get a bit chilly muwa snuggles in the bed, while mami starts arranging her little corner, complete with the photos of buwa and her guru and gods...
.. downstairs baba is busy with rachan ...
after dinner mami and muwa prepare to sleep.. first tine, mami says that she and her sasu have shared the same bed! (never on the same level, even if in the same room)
... this morning muwa inspects the rest of the premises to see what's planted where.. plant more bougainvillea and lalupatey along the perimeter fence
up one level to the kausi. the sun yet to crest the hilltop
... we have our breakfast there...
the higher the sun, the more pleasant for muwa and mami
... time for lunch for muwa
... too much sun for mami, who is beginning to get heat allergy
... muwa prepares to lies down in the sun...

.. muwa and mami were picked up (as they were also dropped off yesterday) by a vehicle from patan.. we came back in the jeep.. and had to have repairs midway!

with the leaves all gone from the lapsi trees.. a view of what appears to be a "seminar and workshop' venue seems to be nearing completion.. except for the roofing

.. and these are the cheel-gaadis... the ones taken when they are in the north or above are bright and blue.. those taken to the west, when they are coming in to land get progressively fuzzier, as the haze started rising...

this is the first time i have seen the thai 777 taking off northwards.. it had taken off by the time it reached the international terminal and banked left soon after....
