the visit to peppa pig world in paultons park was one of the final highlights of the four generations' trip (dada, myself, kripa and ria, or like dada likes to call it.. आफु अनि छोरीको छोरीको छोरी सहित) . on 6th september 2016 we (ria, ravi, kripa, dada and myself) headed southwards from camberley. chhanu (ria) had been excited since the day earlier to visit the park of her friends from the pig world! george, peppa's brother has been her best friend! meanwhile her human friends, anoushka, and harry along with their families were also coming to peppa pig world!
so we hit the highway
she's the right height alright! no tickets for her!
was hard to get chhanu away from the entrance of paultons park with the water fountains...
... or the floating globe!
.. a solid granite globe from a quarry in germany floating seemingly effortlessly on water., and whose direction of rotation can be shifted with the slightest of touch!
paultons park has many sections with many rides for older children. we started heading straight for peppa pig world portion of the park...
we just distracted ourselves with a few attractions along the way... like these beautifully manicured plant animals
... or the victorian carousel...
.. and this other victorian vestige.. again wonderfully sculpted shrubs
before entering peppa's world proper, and since ria's other friends were yet to arrive, we decided to take the mini train ride around peppa's premises.

there was a lively hubbub, peppa pig's signature tune coming from all directions

right outside madame gazelle's schoolhouse were the larger than life george and peppa. too large perhaps for the little children... chhanu preferred to remain a distant witness, no hugs, despite kripa's coaxing... she didn't cry like other seemingly terrified little ones, though!
next was the pond with the paddling ducks that went round and round... chhanu with her great grandpa!

... we then headed for grandpa pig's boat trip... past mr. rhino at the gate...

after that, while dada waited outside on a bench we went on different rides...
anoushka's grandparents also came to peppa world.. ravi once again checking up on the world outside!

chhanu was hungry and angry... a bit of a tantrum and a huge scowl... for a while...
... the lunch spot had ducks all quacking at our feet, and trying to get bits and morsels from us all...

... next ride was on peppa pig's big balloons... below this statue of peppa pig..

.. our next destination was the windy castle.. peppa and geroge seem ready to peek through the telescope atop the castle...

once again all three friends are in one gondola. the view from the top was great.. including the view of the play area muddy puddles and all...
the ride went up, down, round and round.. in nearly all directions!

... all across the peppa pig's world one could see strollers and prams lined up near the rides!
... nearby was the trekking tractor ride. two dads and their two girls on this tractor..

we lost chhanu for a while after the tractor ride... she wandered off on her own and we found her after a frantic 5-minute search sitting by herself next to the duck pond! :( .. and then it was munchies time..
