the wintry misty haze (smog!) was beginning to lift and thus blocking the mountains when we went up..

but as the day wore on the haze lifted, the valley came to better view..

as did the mountains too

the sun was warm and nice.. very enticing to just laze around

kot experience is not at all complete without 'uno'.. played outdoors...

or indoors...

ayoush looks on amused....

'i won.. i won... i won!' kripa prances around after a game of uno...

we had simple food

and ayoush pretended he had overeaten!

and what more luxurious than post lunch siesta!

following the naps and games.. we had our usual photo session...
kripa with the view

kripa gets ready for the titanic shots

ayoush practices the pose against the pristine blue skies...

the pose...

up close...

then a series of group pix

then begins the 'sisters act'.. after taking a picture together, kripa wanted a single picture...

...but priya had ways of ensuring she was in the frame...

... until kripa finally managed to have the frame she wanted!!!

then it was a tour of the hillside.. ayoush and prarthana proud of the track that the 'caterpillar' bulldozer had managed to open up in the hillside..

kripa and prarthu

a disturbing view from the top of the hill looking down at the bistachhap valley... the fertile soil from agricultural fields being turned into bricks and left to be sun-dried...

the view towards kathmandu valley

... did you see that?!

time to go, meant parting shots...

and that's kot danda in the backdrop, in the golden evening light
